Following the Straight and Narrow Road
“I am only 19 years old and want to find Jesus again. I am a recovering alcoholic and addict as well. I feel like finding my faith again will keep me on the straight and narrow.”
There are two roads that we can follow. Scripture says the wide road is broad and that many are on that road. Entering the wide gate is a fatal path that allows us to carry on in our sin. The narrow road is the way of Christ – giving up our will and following the way of Jesus.
The narrow road is a difficult road, but it’s the path that leads to Christ and eternal life. He is with us on our journey and gives us the strength and grace to live life to the fullest. Say “yes” to Jesus.
“Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.” Matthew 7:13-14
