Writing Letters Sharing the Love of Jesus with Women in Prison

“I’m trying hard not to let my anxiety get the best of me and to trust in the Lord. This is just an exercise in faith! Still, knowing I've got you praying with me about things will help me get through.”

As we write incarcerated women, we make connections with them based on the love of Jesus. Think about how important it is for these ladies to know that there is someone praying for them and someone who truly cares about them. They may have never had anyone in their lives care enough to pray or share anything about the love of God.

“I love hearing from you, so I hope you keep writing to me. Thank you for your fellowship and for taking your time to write me. Not even my mother or my kids spend their time on me, but for some reason you do. So for that - your kindness and your compassion, I want you to know that I’m so very thankful.”

Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.” 1 Thessalonians 5:11
