"Let your light shine"
To my surprise, I got a wonderful "Thank You" card from one of the ladies I write that really touched my heart. May it also encourage you to know what God is doing in the lives and hearts of women in prison.
"I got the card that you sent me for my birthday and that it really touched me that you took the time to send me that card. Not even my parents bothered to send me a birthday card. I am so grateful and I feel like you are a true messenger of God and that you are a light in my darkest time. I look at my locker and see all the letters and cards you have sent me and it leaves me speechless and thankful.
"I pray every day that I can impact someone’s life in a positive way like you have mine. I will do my best to let your kindness inspire me to do good things and let the Lord‘s love continue on to the next person."
“Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:16
